SHISHU LOK, Child Resource and Learning Center is a unique center, which provides information and training about children, parenting and learning. It is a union of material and Human Resources that can be utilized by the Parents, Teachers and the Children. This center has been providing the extended family support to many parents and children for a decade.

Our educational model is child centered, emphasizing hands on learning and life skills training. Our Learning center approach aims at application oriented learning and ensures the learning process is pleasurable. The children in our centers develop a passion for learning and love to spend time at the center and are very reluctant to bid goodbye.

As a social responsibility initiative, supporting universalisation of education the center works with rural schools and anganwadi centers in enhancing their educational model by providing them infrastructural and curriculum support. We also organise skill development programmes for children in the rural areas. We conduct training programmes for the rural teachers and facilitators to encourage them to use low cost techniques and tools for effective teaching.

A holistic setup with all child related services under one umbrella is in the pipeline. Also Inclusive Educational setups with ICSE / CBSE / NIOS are in the making.
